Greig McGuinness

Greig is an Accredited Professional Trustee with Dalriada having joined in 2008 from a large organisation specialising in pensions for the not for profit and charity sectors.  Since entering the industry in 1999, Greig has gained a wealth of experience across the spectrum of pensions management.  Greig predominantly works in our on-going trustee  practice working with sponsors as a sole or co-trustee across a variety of pension schemes, ranging from £1 million pension scheme with 30 members to a £500 million+ scheme with around  5,500 members. 

Greig is Accredited as a Professional Trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees.

Greig, an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute, has a strong technical background and wide ranging experience in pension scheme governance, including numerous complex negotiations, investment reviews and corporate transitions. Greig is a non-solicitor member of the Law Society Scotland’s Pensions Law Sub-committee and the Institute of Chartered Accountants Scotland’s Pensions Panel. He is also regularly featured in industry publications discussing current pension issues.

Greig remembers having personal interests, instead he is currently conversant in Minecraft, fluent in FIFA, an amateur taxi driver and youth football fan.
