Darren Palgrave

Darren joined Dalriada in January 2026 as a Pensions Manager with over 28 years in the pensions industry.

He started in actuarial at an insurer and later transitioned to a consultant at a major consulting firm, specialising in trustee governance. He has extensive experience of managing trustee meetings along with providing guidance on governance frameworks, day to day governance activities, buy-in and buy-out projects and DC transitions to master trust for DB and DC trusts as well as hybrid schemes.

Outside work, Darren enjoys spending time with his wife and five children.  He is passionate about cooking and good food, is learning to draw, and is currently aspiring to return to marathon running.
