James Lee

James is an Assistant Pensions Manager within Dalriada’s Pension Management Team, bringing a strong background in pension scheme governance and secretarial support since entering the industry in 2019.

He began his career in one of the UK’s largest Master Trusts, specialising in the implementation of new Pension Scheme’s and progressed to become the Implementations team leader. In his most recent role, James provided governance, scheme management, and secretarial services to a range of pension schemes. James has experience working closely with colleagues of all levels and building strong relationships with scheme advisers. His duties included managing meeting packs, processing invoices, setting and tracking budgets and ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of his schemes. James helped mentor and train a graduate helping them smoothly pass the graduation programme.

He supports Trustees across several UK pension schemes, coordinating and attending meetings, drafting high-quality minutes, assisting with discretionary cases and maintaining budgets. James is committed to continuous learning and professional development completing the Trustee Toolkit and passing Unit 1 of the Award in Pension Trusteeship and he plans to pursue further qualifications to advance his career.

Outside of work, James enjoys spending time with friends, cooking (specialising in Asian food), gaming and playing guitar. James is a member of a local community group, which he volunteers to assist the smooth running of festivals.
