Steven joined Dalriada in October 2025 as a Senior Pensions Manager within the Pensions Management team, bringing over 20 years of experience in pensions and employee benefits. His career spans a wide range of trust-based defined benefit (DB) and defined contribution (DC) schemes across both public and private sectors, including work on both UK and overseas arrangements.
He has held senior consultancy roles at leading firms, advising on complex pension arrangements, governance frameworks, and large-scale projects. Steven has also undertaken in-house secondments as a Pensions Manager, overseeing the operation of large DB and DC schemes, and acting as Scheme Secretary to multiple pension schemes.
His experience includes administration, operational and governance reviews, post-implementation and transition reviews, and distressed project management. He has also provided cost management support and led exercises such as formal tenders and benchmarking.
An experienced project manager, Steven has delivered initiatives covering buy-ins, buy-outs, scheme wind-ups, and mergers. He is an Associate of the Pensions Management Institute (APMI) and holds a PRINCE2 Foundation certification in project management.
Outside of work, Steven enjoys spending time with family and friends, keeping active at the gym, and playing golf and tennis.
