Worcestershire Pension Fund Appoints Mandy Kaur-Sadler as Independent Person

Worcestershire Pension Fund (WPF) is pleased to announce the appointment of Mandy Kaur-Sadler as the Fund’s Independent Person.

Mandy is a Senior Client Director at Dalriada Trustees and brings over 20 years of experience in the pensions sector, with extensive expertise in Local Government Pension Scheme (LGPS) governance, regulation, risk management and legal compliance. As an experienced pensions lawyer and accredited professional pension trustee, she has advised and supported pension funds, local authorities and scheme employers on a wide range of governance, funding, investment and administration matters throughout her career.

The appointment forms part of the Fund’s ongoing commitment to maintaining the highest standards of governance, accountability and transparency. As Independent Person, Mandy will provide objective challenge, oversight and support to the Fund’s governance arrangements, helping to ensure that decision-making continues to reflect best practice and the interests of members, employers and stakeholders.

The role takes on particular significance as the LGPS continues to evolve in response to the Government’s Fit for the Future reforms and the enhanced governance expectations arising from the Pension Schemes Act 2026. WPF has a strong and well-established governance framework and is fully compliant with the new requirements. Mandy’s appointment further strengthens these arrangements and demonstrates the Fund’s commitment to continuous improvement and effective stewardship.
