Andrew Kerrin

Andrew is an experienced pensions professional and fully accredited as a Professional Trustee by the Association of Professional Pension Trustees. He has been involved in a range of consultancy and actuarial work since 2013 and qualified as a Fellow of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries in December 2022.

Prior to joining the business, Andrew obtained a First-Class Honours degree in Law from Queen’s University Belfast and practised as a barrister at the Northern Ireland Bar for seven years. Andrew utilises these legal skills and his actuarial knowledge within the Consultancy Function.

He is currently specialising in on-going trustee appointments made by The Pensions Regulator, in relation to schemes suspected of investment scams and pensions liberation. Working as client manager for several emergency trustee appointments, Andrew has gained experience in the investigation of unregulated investments and dealing with the unique challenges associated with the administration and management of these types of schemes.

As a member of the Actuarial and Investment team, Andrew gained experience working for private pension schemes, mainly in the provision of actuarial services to trustee and corporate clients. Andrew also worked in the Not-for-Profit Sector Function of the business, assisting a variety of organisations across the UK with reviews of their pension options, including the provision of liability management exercises.
