In this edition, we discuss The Pension Regulator’s (TPR) new single Code of Practice, consider the draft regulations in the Pension Schemes Act 2021 relating to ‘empowering trustees and protecting members’ against pension scams, and on the same theme, changes to the Fraud Compensation Fund levy. We ask the question, ‘what’s happening in DC?’ (over two parts) and consider the joint call from TPR and the Financial Conduct Authority relating to the ‘Pension Consumer Journey’. On TCFC, it’s ‘time to take action’ and, of course, there are our regular articles looking at how the investment market performed and what’s coming up next in 2021.
